The 20" x 24" polaroid is a rare work indeed, and
the transfer is attempted by even fewer artists. William Wegman
is perhaps the most famous artist using this equipment (only
six of these cameras exist in the world), and in Florida Anna
Tomczak is the best known of artists using this method. Barbra
recently went to San Francisco with Anna to learn more about
the process, and will create more of these stunning works in
Prague in October 1999.
