PERSONAL
Ron Pieniak
1956 Born in Detroit, Michigan. 1970 Family moves to Dunedin, Florida.
1974-1975 Attended St. Petersburg Jr. College, has first solo exhibition at the student gallery. 1976 Traveled to Austria to attend a summer long painting seminar conducted by Professor Ernst Fuchs. 1978 Moved to New York City.
1979-1981 performed in the punk band "Testors" at Various N.Y.C. clubs including CBGB's & Maxs Kansas City.
Worked as an artist at Alva Museum Replicas. 1982 Moved back to Florida and began a career as a graphic artist. 1985 Moved to Tampa for a position in advertising as an Art Director. 1986-1988 Received multiple Addy Awards for several national consumer magazine ad campaigns. 1989 Returned to painting and began exhibiting regularly. 1990 to Present Works and lives in Tampa, divides his time between commercial art and painting.
